COSTA MESA, Calif. November 26, 2003--Semicoa expands DSCC Qualification to MIL-PRF-19500/301 to include the Space Level testing JANS

Semicoa reveals their JANS2N918 Space Level of general-purpose low power NPN silicon transistor. Semicoa offers this family of transistors in both the TO-72 and 'UB' Cersot package types in addition to die form.

Semicoa received formal DSCC product Notification of Qualification, MIL-PRF-19500M, FSC 5961. This DSCC certification states "Qualification of your product is granted under the current issue of the specification as a result of successful qualification testing of device type JANS2N918 to Performance Specification MIL-PRF-19500M, Semiconductor Devices, FSC 5961, and performance specification sheet /301."

This DSCC QML qualification increases Semicoa's previously qualified JAN, JANTX, JANTXV quality levels to now include the JANS quality level.
