Semicoa Appoints Dave Dickens As Director of Engineering

COSTA MESA, Calif. September 22, 2003--Semicoa strengthens new product development time to market

Semicoa today named Dave Dickens as their Director of Engineering.

Mr. Dickens, a 10-year Texas Instruments executive will report to the President & CEO, Rich Moore. "Dave has a proven track record at recognizing market opportunities by bring the right product solutions to market on time. His expertise and experience will complement our Optoelectronics growth plans", said Mr. Moore.

Semicoa has unique silicon solutions that enable world-class light responsivity with reduced noise characteristics for large photodiode arrays with single planar array attachment. Semicoa is targeting their X-arRay technology at both the medical imaging and x-ray scanner security markets with the intention of Helping to See Things More Clearly™.

Mr. Dickens holds a both BS degree and MS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton, Ohio. Furthermore, Mr. Dickens holds numerous Patents and Publications.
