CUSTOM SERVICES

Rad Hard

SEMICOA’s transistors are used in many space applications where they are exposed to various levels of radiation. They perform extraordinarily well in such harsh environments.

Solder Dip

SEMICOA can provide Solder Dip services for all products. Standard solder alloy is Sn63 (63% Tin and 37% Lead).

Tape And Reel

SEMICOA can provide Tape and Reel services for delivery on our products. Standard 7-inch reels are used.

Hermetic Packaging

SEMICOA provides products for high reliability applications sealed in Hermetic Packages. These packages are ensured to be hermetic by special gross-leak testing and Helium fine-leak testing. All testing is performed according to MIL-PRF-19500 and MIL-STD-750.

Through-hole Metal Cans (TO-Style)

SEMICOA provides products for high reliability applications sealed in Hermetic Packages. These packages are ensured to be hermetic by special gross-leak testing and Helium fine-leak testing. All testing is performed according to MIL-PRF-19500 and MIL-STD-750 Fine leak testing is compliant to test method 1071, condition H Gross leak testing is compliant to test method 1071, condition D.

Surface Mount Ceramic

SEMICOA provides products for high reliability applications sealed in Hermetic Packages. These packages are ensured to be hermetic by special gross-leak testing and Helium fine-leak testing. All testing is performed according to MIL-PRF-19500 and MIL-STD-750 Fine leak testing is compliant to test method 1071, condition H Gross leak testing is compliant to test method 1071, condition D.

RoHS Compliance

Semicoa's Policy Concerning Lead Free Products & lead finish. A significant portion of Semicoa's products are discrete transistors built compliant to MIL-PRF-19500 and associated slash sheets. Many of these parts are solder dipped per Appendix H of MIL-STD-19500. Presently, this finish is a tin/lead solder. At present Semicoa has no intentions of changing this process until DSCC (the Defense Supply Center Columbus) gives a clear indication of changing this specification.
